MBOH is adding mortgage loan servicing capacity.
After consultation with a wide range of MBOH loan servicers, MBOH is adding loan servicing capacity to its staff. With increased regulation of who can service loans and how that servicing must be done, some MBOH servicers have opted out of servicing over the past year leading to higher concentration of servicing among a few servicers. As rules and regulations change and more servicers opt out, MBOH wants to ensure that servicing of its loans stays in Montana. Moreover, the way the legislation was written for the new Montana Veteran Home Loan Program, the logistics of implementation essentially require MBOH to service the loans. Once MBOH has servicing capacity, MBOH will also have the flexibility to use a wider variety of products targeted to low and moderate income borrowers, including any special products for state housing finance agencies.
MBOH is currently seeking to fill two loan servicing positions, a delinquency/foreclosure specialist and a servicing supervisor. More information about these positions can be found at:
